This is Pinot Gris with some serious personality.

The fruit comes from Geelong's Surf Coast, with Mulline using three different fermentation approaches to build complexity.

Part is barrel fermented.

Part is fermented in stainless steel.

And 20% is fermented on skins, giving the wine additional texture, savouriness and that beautiful subtle colour.

Expect a gorgeous combination of:

Pear

Nectarine

Blood orange

Redcurrant

Florals

Orange peel & pith

There's plenty of flavour, but the wine retains excellent freshness.

The small skin-fermented component brings gentle grip and texture without turning this into an orange wine.

This is proper Pinot Gris — textural, complex and bloody delicious.

And at 96+ Halliday, it seriously over-delivers.

This might be one of the best-value Pinot Noirs coming out of Victoria.

The 2025 regional Pinot Noir brings together fruit from across Geelong, including the Moorabool Valley, Surf Coast and Bellarine Peninsula.

Multiple clones are used to build complexity, with a small amount of whole bunch bringing additional perfume and spice.

The result is beautifully bright and energetic.

Wild strawberry

Raspberry & red cherry

White pepper & spice

Dried herbs

Subtle forest-floor complexity

The palate is medium-bodied, supple and wonderfully fresh, with fine tannins and enough savoury complexity to make you keep coming back to the glass.

And then we move to Syrah.

Not big, jammy, heavily extracted Australian Shiraz.

Syrah.

Fresh.

Peppery.

Perfumed.

Savoury.

Medium-bodied.

This is exactly the style that makes cool-climate Victorian Syrah so exciting.

Expect blackberry, blueberry and dark cherry, with violets, pepper, dried herbs and savoury spice.

There's plenty of fruit, but it's the freshness, perfume and fine tannin structure that makes the wine.
