About Longitude
Longitude is named for the north-south meridian of the Côte des Blancs — the line of great Chardonnay that runs through four of the region's most celebrated Premier Cru and Grand Cru villages: Vertus, Avize, Cramant and Oger. By blending Chardonnay from all four villages, Pierre and Sophie Larmandier create a Blanc de Blancs of extraordinary complexity and balance — the citrus precision of Avize, the richness of Cramant, the mineral depth of Oger and the elegance of Vertus, all unified by Larmandier-Bernier's celebrated biodynamic winemaking philosophy. As a non-vintage expression, Longitude is the most consistent and accessible entry point to the Larmandier-Bernier range.
