About the Wine

Château Prieuré-Lichine traces its origins back to the 12th century and was recognised as a Fourth Growth in the famous 1855 Bordeaux Classification.

The estate entered a new era under the legendary wine writer and entrepreneur Alexis Lichine, who acquired the property in 1951 and transformed it into one of Margaux's most respected estates. Today, Prieuré-Lichine continues to produce wines that beautifully express the elegance, perfume and refinement for which the appellation is famous.
