About the Wine
Château Bourgneuf is one of Pomerol's oldest family-owned estates, with a history dating back several centuries. The vineyards occupy an enviable position on the famous Pomerol plateau, where gravel and clay soils—rich in iron deposits—produce Merlot of extraordinary richness, perfume and longevity.
The vineyard is planted predominantly to Merlot, with a small proportion of Cabernet Franc, a classic blend that gives Bourgneuf its signature combination of generosity, elegance and freshness.
The outstanding 2019 Bordeaux vintage allowed the estate to harvest perfectly ripe fruit while retaining exceptional natural acidity, producing a wine that balances richness with remarkable energy.
Food Pairings
Perfect with:

Cellaring
Already drinking beautifully with extended decanting, the 2019 Château Bourgneuf will continue to evolve gracefully for 20–25 years.
