“A powerhouse GSM loaded with flavour, polish and unbelievable value — one of the best $20 reds in the country.”

Tasting Notes

Appearance:
Deep ruby with purple edges — vibrant and youthful.

Aroma:
A beautifully expressive nose of raspberry, cherry and dark plum, lifted by hints of rose petal, baking spice, cracked pepper and subtle earth.
There’s a seductive perfume here typical of top-tier Barossa Grenache.

Palate:
Plush, juicy and superbly balanced — a pitch-perfect blend of Grenache sweetness, Shiraz depth and Mataro spice.
Expect layers of:

  • red berries and wild cherry

  • blackberry and plum

  • star anise, pepper and clove

  • fine, velvety tannins

The palate weight is generous yet silky, with a vibrant freshness that keeps the wine lively and dangerously drinkable.

Finish:
Long, supple and spice-laced, with lingering red fruit and gentle savoury edges.

Why the Awards Matter

  • 96 Points – Decanter

  • 95 Points – The Vintage Journal
