Searching for premium McLaren Vale Grenache? The 2025 Bondar Rayner Vineyard Grenache is a 95+ point single-vineyard Grenache sourced primarily from dry-grown vines planted in 1970 on deep sandy soils. Exceptionally dry 2025 conditions reduced yields by around 50%, while a small addition of younger bush-vine fruit brought freshness and lift. Fermented and raised in ceramic, clay and concrete with approximately 15% whole bunch, the wine combines cranberry, pomegranate, black cherry, spiced plum, herbs and iron with fine tannins, savoury tension and excellent drive.
