Elegant • Estate Grown • Incredible Value

If there is a better Pinot Noir in Australia for $35, I'd love to taste it.

The 1314 Pinot Noir is one of the country's great value wines. Crafted entirely from estate-grown fruit, including vines planted as far back as 1976, it delivers far more pedigree and complexity than its price suggests. This isn't a second label in the traditional sense—it's unmistakably Bannockburn, offering the purity, savoury detail and finesse that have made the winery one of Australia's Pinot Noir benchmarks.

Tasting Notes

Expect beautifully expressive Pinot Noir with:

• Wild raspberry and red cherry
• Cranberry and bramble fruits
• Rose petal and subtle spice
• Forest floor and earthy complexity
• Fine, silky tannins

The palate is vibrant, supple and beautifully textured, balancing juicy red fruits with savoury nuance, bright acidity and a long, elegant finish.

About the Wine

Bannockburn is one of Australia's most iconic Pinot Noir producers, and the 1314 range offers an approachable expression of the estate while retaining the quality and character that have defined the winery for decades.

The wine is sourced from estate vineyards planted in 1976, 1997 and 2004, fermented with indigenous yeast, around 15% whole bunch, and matured for seven months in French oak hogsheads (15% new oak).

The Geelong region contributes:

  • Bright natural acidity
  • Pure red fruit expression
  • Fine tannin structure
  • Elegant cool-climate character
  • Outstanding drinkability

Food Pairings

Perfect with:

• Roast duck
• Roast chicken
• Mushroom risotto
• Charcuterie
• Soft-rind cheeses
