Appearance: Brilliant pale straw with green highlights, youthful, bright and crystal clear.

Aroma: Intensely lifted with lime, lemon zest, green apple and white flowers, layered with hints of grapefruit, crushed stone and subtle herbs. There's a beautiful mineral quality underneath the fruit that gives the wine immediate complexity.

Palate: Pure, energetic and beautifully focused. Citrus and green apple drive the palate, with a fine mineral line and mouth-watering acidity providing tension and structure. There's excellent fruit concentration without heaviness — everything feels precise, vibrant and controlled.

Finish: Long, dry and beautifully persistent, leaving lime, citrus peel, wet stone and subtle saline minerality lingering well after the wine has gone.

Vineyard & Winemaking

The Seeliger Riesling comes from Flaxman Valley, high in the Eden Valley and home to Agricola Vintners' Callum Powell.

This is seriously elevated wine country. Flaxman Valley sits around 500 metres above sea level, among some of South Australia's highest viticultural land. Its steep granite and quartz hillsides, shallow loam topsoils and cooler, wetter conditions create a dramatically different environment from the warmer Barossa Valley floor.

It's exactly the sort of environment Riesling loves.

Cooler conditions allow the grapes to ripen slowly while retaining the natural acidity, aromatic intensity and freshness that make great Eden Valley Riesling so compelling.

The Agricola philosophy is about letting the vineyard speak clearly, producing wines that favour purity, energy and site expression over unnecessary winemaking influence.
