“A breathtaking Tasmanian Pinot — seamlessly balanced, deeply perfumed, and crafted with rare precision and poise.”

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Bright garnet with a shimmering ruby hue — translucent and vibrant.
Aroma: Seductively aromatic, bursting with red cherry, cranberry, and rose petal, underpinned by hints of wild herbs, forest floor, and subtle spice.
Palate: Medium-bodied, silken, and beautifully layered. Red fruits and savoury earth intertwine with fine, chalky tannins and perfectly pitched acidity. The texture is both plush and restrained — a masterclass in balance.
Finish: Long, refined, and gracefully persistent — a lingering interplay of spice, mineral lift, and delicate fruit purity.

Critical Acclaim

  • 96 Points – Halliday Wine Companion
“A wine of superb elegance and composure. Poised, detailed, and texturally seamless — benchmark Tasmanian Pinot Noir.”

  • 95+ Points – The Wine Front
“Beautiful fragrance and purity. Silky tannins, fine structure, and an effortless flow of red fruit and spice. A Pinot of precision and charm.”

Vineyard & Winemaking

Crafted by Justin Bubb and Anna Pooley, this Pinot Noir brings together fruit from select Coal River Valley vineyards — Tasmania’s most renowned Pinot-growing region.

The fruit is hand-picked, wild-fermented, and matured in French oak (20% new) for 10 months, allowing gentle oak influence to enhance texture without masking terroir expression.
Minimal intervention ensures clarity and purity — this is Tasmanian Pinot Noir in its most elegant form.

Region

Tasmania — Australia’s southernmost and most pristine wine region, celebrated for its cool climate and long ripening season.
These conditions yield Pinot Noir of exceptional aromatic lift, natural acidity, and fine-boned structure, rivalling the best from Burgundy.

Food Pairings

  • Roast duck with cherry glaze

  • Chargrilled salmon with miso and sesame

  • Porcini and truffle risotto

  • Roast quail or pheasant

  • Aged brie or washed-rind cheese
