Appearance: Pale gold with green-silver reflections — brilliant and luminous.
Aroma: Layers of lime blossom, white peach and citrus zest lifted by notes of flint, jasmine and crushed stone.
Palate: Intense yet precise. Juicy citrus and stone-fruit flavours flow across a taut mineral core with superb acidity and texture.
Finish: Long, saline and harmonious — a pure echo of lime, herbs and wet rock that lingers for minutes.

Vineyard & Winemaking

The Loibenberg Vineyard — one of the Wachau’s most prestigious sites — rises high above the Danube on ancient terraces of gneiss and mica-schist.
Its sun-drenched slopes and mineral-rich soils produce Rieslings renowned for their density, precision and longevity.

At Weingut Alzinger, every step is defined by purity and restraint:

  • Hand-harvested fruit from steep estate terraces

  • Whole-bunch pressing for finesse and detail

  • Slow, cool fermentation in stainless steel to preserve aromatics

  • Aged on lees for several months to build texture and balance

The result is a Riesling of remarkable clarity and depth — vibrant now and built for decades of graceful aging.
