Vineyard & Winemaking

Sourced from old, dry-grown Barossa Valley vines, many dating back more than 50 years, this Grenache reflects the Schild family’s deep connection to their land in Lyndoch.

Named in honour of family patriarch Edgar Schild, the wine is crafted to show fruit transparency over weight, highlighting Grenache’s natural perfume and finesse.

Fruit is hand-harvested, fermented in small open fermenters, and gently pressed to seasoned French oak for 9 months of maturation — allowing texture and spice to evolve without losing purity or freshness.
